Mamad started taking photos at the age of 12 when his mother bought him his first camera, a Kodak Instamatic. He was hooked on the art of image making from then on. He studied photography at O’Level and A’Level and then went on to the World famous Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara to study for a BA Degree. After graduating he went on to work at several top fashion studios in London and Paris where he worked with some of the greatest names in fashion photography. He worked in London for many years shooting fashion and portraits for magazines, music publications and record companies. He now lives in Nottingham with his family where he pursues his passion for photography. His current goal is to change the image of wedding photography from one that has traditionally been a little stale and old fashioned to a more hip and trendy one.
